Pete is "one of the most important folk artists in Britain" (Mojo Magazine), a singer, musician and dancer steeped in British traditional music. 
He played with the hugely influential New Victory Band, Bandoggs and Red Shift and founded Ryburn 3 Step.

He has great knowledge of ballads and broadsides and writes his own songs in fine traditional style.

Pete plays melodeon, banjo, bouzouki and Appalachian dulcimer.
