Charleston Festival

Charleston has unveiled the full line-up for the 37th edition of Charleston Festival. Over two weeks — 13 to 25 May — this year's programme will include more than 60 talks and performances all set in the grounds of Charleston, once home to the Bloomsbury group and an historic meeting place for some of the most radical artists, writers and thinkers of the 20th century.

From thrilling conversations and hard-hitting debates to family events and hands-on workshops bringing together the creative trailblazers in literature, art, politics and music who are shaping our world today

Headliners include .... Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, Sandi Toksvig, Reni Eddo-Lodge, Olly Alexander, Susanna Clarke, Rose Wylie, Ocean Vuong, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Irvine Welsh, Michael Heseltine, Jennifer Saunders, Paris Lees, Jung Chang and many more.

Charleston can be reached by shuttle bus from Lewes throughout the festival.

Priority booking for Charleston Festival supporters is from Tuesday 24 February, with tickets on general sale at 10am on Thursday 26 February. For those aged 30 and under, Charleston is offering 1,000 tickets at £10 available across all events.
